celebrate our sisters: black history month ’23

The penultimate day of Black History Month 2023 and I got to hop on the tube, head to Tottenham Court Road and join a panel discussion to Celebrate Our Sisters (the theme for this year’s BHM). The panel was hosted by Freuds as part of the company’s regular Culture Club events. I got to sit beside legendary Creative Director Jo Arscott and Freuds’ own rising star Leanne Pinney and contribute to a rich conversation that was beautifully moderated by Rukaya El Turki.

I’m grateful to Freuds for holding the space, and hopeful that the words and knowledge we shared will be turned into action
